when meeting start notes automatically open

When I join a meeting, Notes automatically open on the right side of the screen. This happens every time I enter a meeting, and if the meeting has breakout rooms, Notes also open each time I enter a room or return to the main meeting.

If that is indeed what you’re trying to do, then unfortunately the answer is as follows: at this time, this behavior is by design in Microsoft Teams. There is currently no global, client‑side setting that allows users to prevent the Notes pane from opening automatically when a meeting starts or when you re‑enter the main meeting from breakout rooms.

I understand this may not be the outcome you were hoping for. Unfortunately, in this forum we don’t have the ability to modify product behavior or apply backend configuration changes.
