В следующем примере кода показано использование Source свойства. В этом примере switch инструкция использует входные данные консоли для поиска записей журнала событий для указанного EntryType. Если совпадение найдено, Source сведения о свойстве отображаются в консоли.

Комментарии

Источник событий указывает, что регистрировало событие. Это часто имя приложения или имя подкомпонента приложения, если приложение большое. Приложения и службы обычно записываются (и поэтому являются источниками) журнала приложений или пользовательского журнала. Драйверы устройств обычно записываются в системный журнал.
