Имя RegionInfo является одним из двухбуквенный код, определенный в СТАНДАРТе ISO 3166 для страны или региона. Например, двухбуквенный код для США — "US".

Важно!

В некоторых случаях TwoLetterISORegionName свойство может содержать более двух символов. Например, значение TwoLetterISORegionName свойства для карибского региона равно "029".

Случай не имеет большого значения. Однако Nameсвойства , TwoLetterISORegionNameи ThreeLetterISORegionName возвращают соответствующий код в верхнем регистре.

Предупреждение

Если вы хотите сохранить RegionInfo объект или передать его между процессами, следует создать его экземпляр, используя полное имя языка и региональных параметров, а не двухбуквенный код региона ISO. Так как RegionInfo свойства зависят от скрипта и языка, создание экземпляра RegionInfo объекта с использованием только кода региона теряет контекст и данные.

Предопределенные RegionInfo имена перечислены в стандарте ISO 3166: коды стран.
