Assistant cards
Staying well-informed of everything you have going on can be difficult. Your sellers are focused not only on today's deals but also on the customers whom they aren't currently working. Some of this upkeep, such as setting up reminders, can be handled with applications like Microsoft Outlook. However, those applications don't have the ability to remind you when you haven't reached out to someone. The assistant can help with this task.
The assistant monitors your daily actions and communications and generates a collection of cards that are displayed prominently throughout the application to provide tailored, actionable insights.
The assistant can perform the following tasks:
Remind you of upcoming activities like meetings and tasks.
Evaluate your communications and suggest when it's time to reach out to a contact that has been inactive for a while.
Identify email messages that might be waiting for your reply.
Alert you when an opportunity is nearing its close date.
The primary component that the assistant uses to interact with users is action cards. Action cards provide up-to-date information on emails, meetings, and more. Action cards display throughout Dynamics 365 on items like forms and dashboards to provide relevant information for the context in which you're currently working. For example, when someone opens an account record, they might be provided with action cards that are related to:
Emails that are received from the account
Reminders of upcoming meetings with the customer
Cards letting them know that an opportunity is going to close soon
An insight card contains the following basic elements:
Main content area - Shows the title of the record the card refers to, its summary, card type, and other basic information.
Record details – Opens the record the card is associated with.
Actions area - Provides convenient links to help you complete whatever action the card is recommends. The type of links and number of links (up to two) vary by card type. For more information, see Insight cards reference.
Feedback - Helps you give feedback about whether the card was useful for you. The feedback helps Microsoft and your organization administrators to improve the card experience and make it more helpful for you.
Snooze - The snooze time varies by card type. All the high priority and cards of type Today are snoozed for one hour, and all other cards are snoozed for 24 hours. After the snooze time expires, the card is again visible.
Dismiss - Select this button to dismiss the card permanently, regardless of whether you've completed the action it recommends.
Personal configuration
After your organization's administrator has completed the initial configuration of the insight's cards feature, individual sellers can determine which cards they want to use based on their personal needs. A seller can modify their personal sales insights settings from the Personal settings area of the Sales Hub application.
From within the Manage insights card screen, you can have access to all the cards that have been made available to you based on your security role. Each card that you see is turned on by default, but you can turn off any of them as needed. Cards can be located by using the search option at the top of the screen. As you enter the name of the card that you want, the list is filtered.
As you hover over a card, a preview of the card is displayed to help you better understand what it is and how it's presented in the application. If you decide not to use a card, you can open it and turn it off.
