ValuePattern_SetValue function (uiautomationcoreapi.h)

Sets the text value of an element.

Syntax

HRESULT ValuePattern_SetValue(
  [in] HUIAPATTERNOBJECT hobj,
  [in] LPCWSTR           pVal
);

Parameters

[in] hobj

Type: HUIAPATTERNOBJECT

The control pattern object.

[in] pVal

Type: LPCTSTR

The string to set the element's content to.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

Returns S_OK if successful or an error value otherwise.
