EmailServerProfile entity messages and methods

This entity represents the email server profile for an organization. The schema name for this entity is EmailServerProfile. To view the entity metadata for your organization, install the Metadata Browser solution described in Browse the metadata for your organization. You can also view the metadata for an uncustomized organization in the Excel file called EntityMetadata.xlsx included in the top-level folder of the SDK download.

The following table describes the messages for this entity, which you use with the IOrganizationService method.

AssignRequest

Assigns an email server profile to another organization.

CreateRequest

Creates an email server profile.

DeleteRequest

Deletes an email server profile.

GrantAccessRequest

Shares an email server profile with another security principal (user or team).

ModifyAccessRequest

Changes the access rights for an email server profile previously shared with another security principal (user or team).

RetrieveMultipleRequest

Retrieves a collection of email server profiles.

RetrievePrincipalAccessRequest

Retrieves the access that the specified security principal (user or team) has to an email server profile.

RetrieveRequest

Retrieves an email server profile.

RetrieveSharedPrincipalsAndAccessRequest

Retrieves the security principals (users or teams) that have access to an email server profile, and their access rights to the email server profile.

RevokeAccessRequest

Removes all access to an email server profile for the specified security principal (user or team).

SetStateRequest

Sets the state of an email server profile. The possible states are defined in the EmailServerProfile.Statecode attribute. If you are using early bound types, use the EmailServerProfileState enumeration. For a list of possible states, see the EmailServerProfile entity metadata. You can find this information in the metadata for your organization. See the preceding metadata browser information.

UpdateRequest

Updates an email server profile.
