ps4 controller not being detected on pc

I got a new pc less than a week ago and have been playing using a ps4 which I connected with the help of ds4 windows with a wired USD connection. However, today after I had played on the ps4 and went to connect it back to the pc, it acted as if I hadn't plugged it in at all, no slow flashing yellow light, nothing. I tried a different cord, no luck, I have one that is only for charging, it made it flash slowly in yellow, indicating that it was charging, but not showing up in devices. I have restarted the pc, reinstalled ds4 and checked if my USB controllers needed updating, which they did not. I have checked if the USB ports work with other devices, which they do. I have checked if the cords work with the ps4, which they did. I am loosing my mind, I don't understand what is wrong, it worked fine earlier today. I do not have bluetooth on this pc either, so a wireless connection wouldn't work.

I did not change anything during the time it wasn't plugged in. I would appreciate it so very much if anyone came with a fix, but I am about to loose all hope. I've been searching for ages for a fix, but can't find a problem that quite resembles mine, at least not with fixes that worked for me.

    To clarify, when I plug it in, no sound appears, it doesn't appear in drivers, since it is the most common fix I have found but it was, as said, unhelpful to me as the controller doesn't appear in devices when plugged in, neither does the controller give off any light as it should when plugged in(however, the problem is not with the USB port or the cord, I've checked)

    Now tried installing the different ds4 windows you sent, sadly it didn't work either. At least it was a fix I hadn't tried yet. I'm really not sure what the problem is, as said, when I plug it in it shows no sign at all of being plugged in, yet I tried plugging the USB cord into other devices with the controller and it worked fine, I tried plugging in other devices to my pc, and they worked fine, so that is not the issue either.

    I'm quite lost here and I don't have much hope you'll know what the issue is either, but I do appreciate the attempt at least, sorry if I sound rude in my replies, just quite stressed and upset over this since I have been trying to fix it for several hours, been searching around for similar issues but no luck

    What version of DS4 do you have installed?

    Initially I recommend that you uninstall the program completely;

    Download DS4Windows again and try to configure it again:

    Thank you for your reply, but I believe you didn't properly read what I wrote. The second video was not at all helpful, since I already had the application installed and it was working earlier today even without problems. For the first video you sent, I did state that it did not appear in my devices either as that fix is one I have seen very many times and I wish it would be as easy fix as that, but I'm afraid my problem seems more complicated than that.

    Still, thank you for answering, would appreciate it if you can think of anything else
