Several BSODs with "DMA Protection Violation"

Hi,

I've recently stumbled upon DMA Protection VIolation BSOD that continously happens until i turn the feature off in bios and it doesnt help, it still bsods, it happens more often when a dock is used.

Are there any experienced people who could read these dumps to determine the issue if its software related? I've tried to update all relevant drivers, bios, tried chdsk, sfc scan, everything i can think of. It crashes every 2-15 minutes, its very random.

I've uploaded all bsod dumps and would be grateful if someone could help and determine the issue.

    Thanks for the clarification.

It's hard to say whether it's a software or hardware problem. The minidumps you shared don't provide useful clues. Further investigation is needed.

Follow the procedure below to disable the Driver Verifier.

    1. Open Start and type cmd, right-click on "Command Prompt", and select "Run as administrator".
    2. Run the following commands at the Command Prompt one at a time:

    verifier /reset
    verifier /bootmode resetonbootfail

    1. Then, restart the PC.

After restarting the PC, use it as usual and see if the system will work stably.

If the BSOD occurs again, share the minidump it created. Click on the "Svara" button below my reply.

Feel free to ask back any questions.

It should only have been enabled on the last dump iirc as i discovered it being another tool to debug whats the issue causing the BSOD.

Is there any indication on hardware fault or is it purely software? Reinstallation will be painful for this device if its not a software problem but, rather a hardware problem.

Hi. I'm David, and I'm happy to help you.

The minidumps do not mention any drivers. Only a generic system file.

The stop code "DRIVER_VERIFIER_DMA_VIOLATION" occurs when the Driver Verifier has been instructed to monitor one or more drivers.
Driver Verifier is disabled by default. Have you enabled it at any point to monitor your drivers?
