Hi I am the sole admin of the business tenant and my phone was factory reset and I lost access to the authenticator. And when I try to login I am asked to either approve on authenticator OR provide a code from the authenticator. I tried the unblock admin link and recover my account. But nothing work. I called the Swedish (where I m located) support number. But I don't speak Swedish , and I do not have anyone that can help with translation so I can't get anywhere with that. And since I can't login to my business account (that I lost the authenticator certificate), I also can't submit an online support request form. Please advise what to do.

Yep, they provide backup codes in case the Authenticator is lost too, but rarely does someone save that. I am afraid there is not much you can do here - maybe take help of someone who knows Swedish, sorry. I am just a casual user like you who is not associated with Microsoft.

    Hi,

I'm Sumit, here to help with your query on the Microsoft Q&A forums.

Apologies for any inconvenience you are experiencing. I am happy to help you today.

Microsoft recommends calling support in these cases. Did you call on these numbers mentioned below:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/customer-service-phone-numbers-c0389ade-5640-e588-8b0e-28de8afeb3f2

I am afraid it is written that these numbers are in Swedish, correct.

By the way, did you see an option something similar to "I don't have access to Authenticator right now?

If the Authenticator app had cloud backup enabled, restore it first: install Microsoft Authenticator on the new phone, choose Restore from backup, sign in with the same personal Microsoft account used for Authenticator backups, then retry sign-in; this often restores the tenant account’s MFA entry if it was backed up.

I look forward to your response and am eager to collaborate until we find a solution.
