- The hotfix 940848 has two file updates for 2003 SP2 x86
Mmcex.dll 5.2.3790.4327
Mmcndmgr.dll 5.2.3790.4327
Checked the version on your system under system32 for files:
Mmcex.dll - 5.2.3790.4327
Mmcndmgr.dll - 5.2.3790.4327
- It means you have hotfix installed.
Followed the resolution:
- Exported the existing
HKLM\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\uninstall\Kb940848-v3 into .reg file.
- Opened it in notepad.
- Replaced Kb940848-v3 with KB940848 in .reg file after opening in notepad.
- Imported this key.
- Now pre req. check runs fine without any warning
