Configuration Manager Console Crashes

Have you ever had the System Center Configuration Manager Current Branch console crash on launch but you cannot figure out why?  There could be several reasons that the console crashes on launch.  I just found out an uncommon reason that the console crashes, the Event Viewer.  If the Event Viewer logs are full and not allowing old logs to overwrite that can cause the console to crash.  If the console needs write anything to the Event Viewer and cannot it will crash the console.
