Returns the ProtectionParameter to be used when a Entry with the specified alias is requested.

the alias for the entry.

Returns

KeyStore.IProtectionParameter

the ProtectionParameter that should be used to obtain the Entry with the given alias.

Exceptions

KeyStoreException

if an error occurred during the lookup for the protection parameter.

IllegalStateException

if KeyStore is not called prior the invocation of this method.

NullPointerException

if alias is null.

Remarks

Returns the ProtectionParameter that should be used to obtain the Entry with the given alias. The getKeyStore method must be invoked before this method may be called.
