Parameters

arg: String

The original string.

mapString: String

The substring in arg that should be replaced with transString.

transString: String

The string to replace mapString with.

Returns

String

The translated value as String.

Remarks

Converts a string (arg) by replacing the characters in a substring (mapString) with the characters in another string (tranString).
