Business value

The most common and often preferred source of scope 3 emissions is direct from the supplier. The ESG value chain solution will enable organizations to provide more detail around their value chain partners. This detail can enable customized workflows, including questionnaires, used to collect emissions and ESG data needed for reporting and science-based target setting and reductions. Using a configurable format and integrating with the power platform suite, you can create an experience for your organization to collect needed information from suppliers.

ESG reporting needs can vary from basic data collection to supplier data enablement. Microsoft Sustainability Manager strives to provide a breadth of tools internally and externally to assist you with collecting this data.
