COS Function (VisioShapeSheet)

Returns the cosine of an angle.

Syntax

COS( angle)

Parameters

Name	Required/Optional	Data Type	Description
angle	Required	Numeric	The angle of which to get the cosine.

Remarks

The COS function uses radians unless you specify a different unit of measure in angle.

Example

COS(45 deg)

Returns 0.7071.
