CloneAsPatch Action

Applies To: Dynamics 365 (online), Dynamics 365 (on-premises), Dynamics CRM 2016, Dynamics CRM Online

Creates a solution patch from a managed or unmanaged solution.

This Web API action corresponds to the organization service CloneAsPatchRequest.

CloneAsPatch action is not bound to any entity types.

Parameters

Parameters allow for data to be passed to the action.

ParentSolutionUniqueName	Edm.String	false	false	The unique name of the parent solution.
DisplayName	Edm.String	false	false	The name of the patch.
VersionNumber	Edm.String	false	false	The version number of the patch. The version must be greater than the parent solution but have the same major.minor number.

The CloneAsPatch action returns the following value.
