Get-IPBlockListProvider

Use the Get-IPBlockListProvider cmdlet to view the configuration for a specific IP Block List provider on a computer that has the Hub Transport server role or Edge Transport server role installed.

Get-IPBlockListProvider [-Identity <IPBlockListProviderIdParameter>] [-DomainController <Fqdn>]
Detailed Description
The IP Block List provider configuration is used by the Connection Filter agent. The Connection Filter agent relies on the IP address of the remote server that is trying to connect to determine what action, if any, to take on an incoming message. The remote IP address is available to the Connection Filter agent as a by-product of the underlying TCP/IP connection that is required for the SMTP session.
To run the Get-IPBlockListProvider cmdlet, the account you use must be delegated the following:
- Exchange View-Only Administrators role
To run the Get-IPBlockListProvider cmdlet on a computer that has the Edge Transport server role installed, you must log on by using an account that is a member of the local Administrators group on that computer.
