This topic explains how to use the Exchange Management Shell to view cluster continuous replication (CCR) settings for controlling failover.

Before You Begin

To perform this procedure, the account you use must be delegated the Exchange Server Administrator role and local Administrators group for the target server. For more information about permissions, delegating roles, and the rights that are required to administer Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, see Permission Considerations.

Procedure

To use the Exchange Management Shell to view the current failover control settings

  1. Run the following command to obtain the failover control settings for a clustered mailbox server:

    Get-MailboxServer -Identity:<CMSName> | Format-List

    Note

<CMSName> is the name of the clustered mailbox server.

  2. Run the following command to get the transport dumpster settings for the organization:

    Get-TransportConfig | Format-List
