Use the Completion page to confirm whether the new managed content settings were created successfully. Click Finish to complete the New Managed Content Settings wizard.

A status of Completed indicates that the wizard completed the task successfully. A status of Failed indicates that the task was not completed. If the task fails, review the summary for an explanation, and then click Back to make any configuration changes.

For more information about creating new managed content settings, see How to Create Managed Content Settings.

The summary pane lists the following fields.

  • Management Shell command
This field lists the Exchange Management Shell command that was used to move mailboxes. If the task is successful, this text is displayed as Management Shell command completed. If the task fails, this text is displayed as Management Shell command attempted.

For more information about the New-ManagedContentSettings cmdlet, see New-ManagedContentSettings (RTM).

For more information about the Exchange Management Shell, see Using the Exchange Management Shell.

  • Elapsed Time
This field indicates the amount of time it took for the wizard to complete the task. If the elapsed time is 00:00:00, this indicates that the task took less than 1 second to complete.

Note

You can press CTRL+C to copy the text in the summary pane to the Clipboard. After the text has been copied to the Clipboard, you can paste it into a document or screen.

After completing the New Managed Content Settings wizard, you can perform the following tasks:

  • To complete the deployment of messaging records management (MRM), after you create the managed content setting, link its managed folder to a managed folder mailbox policy, apply that policy to a mailbox, and then set the managed folder assistant schedule or run the managed folder assistant manually. For more information, see Deploying Messaging Records Management.

  • Your organization can create a Web site where users can opt in and add managed custom folders to their mailboxes. For more information about using Web services to create a site where users can add their own managed folders, see Microsoft Exchange Server 2007 SDK Documentation.
