Radial Scale Properties Dialog Box, Layout

Select Layout on the Radial Scale Properties dialog box to specify how the scale is positioned in the gauge.

Options

  • Scale radius
Type a value or expression that represents the radius of the scale, as a percentage of gauge width or height, whichever is smaller. The gauge width can be thought of as an implied box around the gauge frame circle.

  • Start angle
Type a value or expression that represents the angle where the scale will start. Zero degrees is the bottom-most point of the circle, commonly associated with the 6 o'clock position on an analog clock. Degree values proceed clockwise to the left. For example, 90 degrees is equivalent to the left-most point of the circle.

  • Sweep angle
Type a value or expression that represents how far around the circle, in degrees, the scale will span. For example, setting a value of 360 will draw the scale as a complete circle.

  • Scale bar width
Type a value or expression that represents the width of the scale bar, as a percentage of the scale radius. The scale bar is the line on which tick marks are drawn.
