DacServices.GenerateDeployScript Method (Stream, DacPackage, DacPackage, String, DacDeployOptions)

Creates a Transact-SQL script that can be used to deploy the differences between the schemas of the supplied source and target DacPackage instances to a database.

Parameters

• outputStream
  Type: System.IO.Stream
  Stream to which to write the deployment script.

• sourcePackage
  Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dac.DacPackage
  DacPackage containing the source schema to be compared.

• targetPackage
  Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dac.DacPackage
  DacPackage containing the target schema to be compared.

• targetDatabaseName
  Type: System.String
  Name of the target database for deployment.

• options
  Type: Microsoft.SqlServer.Dac.DacDeployOptions
  Instance of DacDeployOptions that specifies properties that affect various aspects of the deployment script creation.
