ActionsPane.Hide Method (2007 System)
Removes the ActionsPane and the controls from the task pane user interface, but leaves the task pane visible.

Remarks
Calling the Hide method only hides the task pane user interface, including the ActionsPane control and any controls that have been added to it. This method does not hide the task pane itself.
If you want to hide the task pane or determine whether the task pane is visible, use the following properties:
For Word, use the TaskPaneVisible property of the TaskPane object that represents the Document Actions task pane.
For Excel, use the _ApplicationDisplayDocumentActionTaskPane property of the Workbook.Application object.
