HcOnDemandCompLevel Metabase Property
Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 with SP1
The HcOnDemandCompLevel property specifies the compression level for the compression scheme, when the scheme is to compress static content on demand. Low compression levels produce slightly larger compressed files, but with lower overall impact on CPU and memory resources. Higher compression levels generally result in small compressed files but with higher CPU and memory usage.
Valid compression levels range from 1 to 10.
The World Wide Web Publishing Service (WWW service) must be restarted before any changes to this property take effect.
