Checklist: Preparation for installing a cluster
Important
- If you are using a shared storage device, make sure that Windows Server 2003, Enterprise Edition, and Windows Server 2003, Datacenter Edition, and the Cluster service are installed and running on one server before starting the operating system on another server in the cluster. If the operating system is started on multiple servers before the Cluster service is running on one server, the cluster storage could be corrupted. Once the first server is configured, the remaining servers may be installed simultaneously.
