AspDiskTemplateCacheDirectory Metabase Property
Applies To: Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2003 with SP1
AspDiskTemplateCacheDirectory contains the name of the directory that ASP uses to store compiled ASP templates to disk after overflow of the in-memory cache. If the default directory is changed, then the administrator must ensure that the identity of the processes running Asp.dll has been assigned full control rights to the new directory. Typically, the identity of the processes running Asp.dll is the IWAM_USER and System accounts.
AspDiskTemplateCacheDirectory can only be set to a local path. ASP template caching fails if this property is set to a UNC or mapped network path.
