Använda ett COM-gränssnitt

Klientkoden är användaren av COM-gränssnittet. Om du vill använda ett COM-gränssnitt, anpassat eller standard måste en klient känna till sitt IID. I följande exempel skickar drivrutinen som anropar CustomRpt namnet på det objekt som konverteras till ett wide character-format. Objektnamnet matas till CreateFileMoniker så att en filmoniker kan skapas och klienten kan binda till objektet som körs. När objektet har körts kan CustomRpt komma åt en pekare till antingen ett gränssnitt i standardproxyn/stub, till exempel IPersistFileeller till det anpassade gränssnittet ICustomInterface.
