MF_DEVSOURCE_ATTRIBUTE_SOURCE_TYPE attribute

Specifies a device's type, such as audio capture or video capture.

The following values are defined for this attribute:

Value	Meaning
MF_DEVSOURCE_ATTRIBUTE_SOURCE_TYPE_AUDCAP_GUID	Audio capture device.
MF_DEVSOURCE_ATTRIBUTE_SOURCE_TYPE_VIDCAP_GUID	Video capture device.

 

Get/set

To get this attribute, call IMFAttributes::GetGUID.

To set this attribute, call IMFAttributes::SetGUID.

Remarks

Use this attribute as input to the following functions:

• MFCreateDeviceSource
• MFCreateDeviceSourceActivate
• MFEnumDeviceSources

In addition, this attribute is set on the activation objects returned by the MFEnumDeviceSources function.

The GUID constant for this attribute is exported from mfuuid.lib.
