I contacted EA, and they said their game servers are fine and suggested I ask Microsoft. I'm not sure if this is the right approach, but I need help. I've been stuck on the loading screen for 3 days now.

I forgot to mention, I downloaded this game through Steam.

I tried rebooting my PC, turning off my router and unplugging it, and then verifying the game files.

I'm glad you could play again. The overlay offers quick access to Steam features without leaving the game, allowing you to chat with friends, check game guides, browse the web, or take screenshots easily.

Besides this, some games use the overlay for trading within Steam.

Another example is the NVIDIA Geforce Experience overlay, which is mainly for recording or tweaking graphics settings. If you don't use it, you can disable it too.

Disabling the overlay is like removing an extra load from your computer. Ultimately, it's about minimizing background processes while gaming to enhance your computer's performance.

Don't worry about it, let's check out what's going on. I haven't personally had any problems with the game, but I got it through the XBOX app.

If you got the game on Steam, then Origin or Microsoft probably won't be able to help; it could be a configuration issue. So, just to confirm, you open the game, but it takes a long time to load after starting a new game, right? Have you tried adjusting the graphic settings?

Disabling the Steam overlay might also help: Go to the game's properties in Steam, under the General tab, and uncheck "Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game."

I was able to access the main menu, but when I pressed ‘New Game’, I could set the options normally. However, the loading screen took a very long time. I noticed that other people in the game’s community group are experiencing the same issue, and they haven’t been able to solve it either.

EA mentioned some file that might be causing the game not to run, which made me even more confused. They also mentioned Origin and suggested that I contact Microsoft to help check the file. But the only thing I know how to do is post questions in this community.
