Contact details features (preview)

This article explains the contact details features in Finance agents in Microsoft 365 Outlook.

A list shows the contacts that the app identifies from the email addresses in the From, To, or CC field of an email. After you select a contact in the list, Finance agents in Microsoft 365 Outlook let you complete these tasks:

  • View the contact details that the enterprise resource planning (ERP) system stores.

  • Update the contact details.

  • Create new contacts. For any contact that doesn't already exist, Finance agents in Microsoft 365 Outlook let you create a new contact in the ERP system and map it to an existing customer. To add a contact, select add next to the email address in the list of contacts. Fill in the required fields and any optional fields that are needed. After you finish, select Save.

  • Update existing contacts. To update a contact, select it in the list of contacts on the contact card. Then, in the contact details view, select the pencil symbol at the top, and make the required changes. After you finish, select Save to complete the update.
