RepeaterCommandEventHandler Delegate

Definition

Represents the method that will handle the ItemCommand event of a Repeater.

public delegate void RepeaterCommandEventHandler(System::Object ^ source, RepeaterCommandEventArgs ^ e);
public delegate void RepeaterCommandEventHandler(object source, RepeaterCommandEventArgs e);
type RepeaterCommandEventHandler = delegate of obj * RepeaterCommandEventArgs -> unit
Public Delegate Sub RepeaterCommandEventHandler(source As Object, e As RepeaterCommandEventArgs)

Parameters

source
Object

The source of the event.

e
RepeaterCommandEventArgs

A RepeaterCommandEventArgs that contains the event data.

Examples

The following example demonstrates how to specify and code a handler for the ItemCommand event of the Repeater. Information about the button is displayed when a Button control within the Repeater is clicked.

Remarks

When you create a RepeaterCommandEventHandler delegate, you identify the method that will handle the event. To associate the event with your event handler, add an instance of the delegate to the event. The event handler is called whenever the event occurs, unless you remove the delegate. For more information about event handler delegates, see Handling and Raising Events.

For more information about how to handle events, see Handling and Raising Events.
