Connect Databricks Genie to Microsoft Agent 365

Use this guide to connect Databricks Genie to Microsoft Agent 365.

Before you begin

Before you create the connection:

• Obtain the Databricks workspace URL.
• Create a service principal.
• Obtain the service principal client ID.
• Obtain the service principal client secret.
• Grant the permissions required to read the Genie agents in the workspace.

Create the connection

1. Open the Microsoft 365 admin center.
2. Select Agents > All Agents.
3. In Connected platforms, select Manage.
4. Select + Connect a platform and choose Databricks Genie.
5. Enter the workspace URL, client ID, and client secret.
6. Validate the credentials.
7. Save the connection.
8. Select Sync agents.

Verify the connection

Review the synchronization status and confirm that the expected Genie agents appear in the Microsoft 365 agent registry.

Rotate or revoke access

Rotate the service principal secret in Databricks and update the connected platform connection. To revoke access, disable the service principal or remove its workspace permissions.
