Connect Salesforce Agentforce to Microsoft Agent 365

Use this guide to connect Salesforce Agentforce to Microsoft Agent 365.

Before you begin

Before you create the connection:

• Confirm that your Salesforce account has the required API permissions.
• Obtain the Salesforce My Domain URL.
• Obtain a consumer key.
• Obtain a consumer secret.

Create a Salesforce connected app

1. In Salesforce, select Setup, and then search for App Manager.
2. Open External Client App Manager.
3. Select New External Client App.
4. Enable OAuth.
5. Set the callback URL required by your environment.
6. Select the scopes required by the Agentforce connection.
7. Enable Client Credentials Flow.
8. Save the app.
9. In Policies > OAuth Policies, enable Client Credentials Flow.
10. Set Run As to a user with API access.

Record the consumer key and consumer secret from the app settings, and copy the current My Domain URL from Setup > My Domain.

Create the connection

1. Open the Microsoft 365 admin center.
2. Select Agents > All Agents.
3. In Connected platforms, select Manage.
4. Select + Connect a platform and choose Salesforce Agentforce.
5. Enter the My Domain URL, consumer key, and consumer secret.
6. Validate the credentials.
7. Save the connection.
8. Select Sync agents.

Verify the connection

Review the synchronization status and confirm that the expected Agentforce agents appear in the Microsoft 365 agent registry.

Revoke access

Revoke access by disabling or deleting the Salesforce connected app, rotating the consumer secret, or removing the API access of the run-as user.
