How to: View the Settings for a Database (SQL Server Management Studio)

This topic describes how to view the current options that are set on a database by using Object Explorer in SQL Server Management Studio.

To view the settings for a database

1. In Object Explorer, connect to an instance of the SQL Server 2005 Database Engine, and then expand that instance.

2. Expand Databases, right-click the database to view, and then click Properties.

3. In the Database Properties dialog box, click the Options page. For a description of each option, see Setting Database Options.
