Andalus font family
Andalus is an Arabic display font. Its design is a modern interpretation of Kairawani Kufic. This font is suitable for headlines, titles, posters, and any graphic design project where artistic flavor is desired.
- This font has shipped with Windows since Windows 3.1 (Arabic edition) as a TrueType font.
- Version 5.92 shipped with Windows 7, support for advance OpenType layout tables to improve marks positioning and other typographic enhancements were added.
- Version 5.99 shipped with Windows 8, we added traditional phrase-ligatures and support for end-of-Ayat mark to make Andalus more user-friendly to native Arabic language users.
