Gets or sets a string that specifies the name of a member provider that provides password validation logic.

Remarks
When using username ClientCredentialType
on a binding, the usernames are mapped to Windows accounts by default. It is possible to override this behavior using this property, which provides the name of the MembershipProvider that specifies the relevant password validation logic.
