Summary
Educators, families, and community leaders are empowered to develop conditions for STEM learning and context for applications that engage women authentically. This module reviewed several pieces of research and resources to support STEM education for girls. Through this module, educators have learned to identify five key insights to close the gender gap in STEM fields, select key tools to integrate into learning experiences to increase women in STEM fields, and use STEM ideas and concepts in ways that motivate girls and all learners. After completing this module, educators should attempt new methods of engagement to ensure girls and all learners have access to STEM tools. Our future generations depend on it!
