Things for which you may want to consider using funding

Completed

Once you've secured some sort of funding for your MSA program, whether through your school, school district, or through grants or donations, you'll need to decide what you want to use it for.

Minecraft swag

Performing a quick search on the internet for “Minecraft swag” brings up items such as laptop and water bottle stickers, sunglasses, t-shirts, lanyards, etc. You can also check local stores for Minecraft swag options as well. Your students will love having the opportunity to show off their love of Minecraft and your MSA program with the swag your program provides.

Think outside of the box! Funding that you secure may also be able to provide Minecraft swag that you're able to pass out at the different events you attend!

Transportation

Depending on where you hold your face-to-face MSA meetings and events, you may want to provide transportation for your students. As stated in previous modules, this could include your monthly face-to-face meetings, district-wide events, local conferences, or even national/regional conferences. Sometimes transportation is a limiting factor for students, parents, and guardians making the decision to join a club or activity. Being able to provide this service could be what they need to be able to join your MSA program.

Snacks

When your MSA program meets together as a group, it more than likely will take place after school or on weekends. Consider utilizing the funding that your program secures to be able to provide snacks and beverages for your students, parents, and guardians.

Conferences

Using funding to pay for conference or showcase admission fees is a great way to ensure that you're able to expose your ambassadors to different opportunities to share your MSA program. A few things that might require funding include stickers, t-shirts, lanyards, transportation, snacks, and conferences.
