PL-900: Module 1 Introduction to Microsoft Power Platform
As you're preparing to teach this module, get familiar with what the students will learn during the module – the concepts and methodologies they'll be working through. In this module students will learn about using Power Platform to create custom business solutions, explore the components and features of Power Platform, as well as when to use Power Platform component application to create business solutions.
This module consists of one lesson:
- Lesson 1 – Power Platform overview
Module 1 Tips and Tricks
- Include a short introduction on each of the services, subsequent modules will go into more detail
- Highlight the benefits of multiple connectors and the integration across different Microsoft products
- Describe the benefits of low/no-code
- The slide deck presents as a great visual aid, as you'll go into more detail throughout the course
- Use storytelling and examples to illustrate services
Module 1 Demos
- No formal demo for this module, however it's recommended that you show the real estate solution from PL-900 to showcase how the different components of the Power Platform can be leveraged together to build an end-to-end solution that supports different business cases.
Module 1 Labs/Exercises
- No labs or exercises for this module, however it's recommended that you set up your lab environment and perform the labs yourself prior to class so that you become familiar with them and with any of the difficult points in the lab exercises. This will prepare you for helping students in case they get stuck.
