Summary
Protecting user devices across operating systems such as Windows Client, iOS, or Android can be accomplished using Microsoft Entra ID. Microsoft Entra ID works with both cloud-only and hybrid environments. This provides flexibility in accessing both cloud and on-premises apps and resources. Users can join Microsoft Entra ID during the Windows OS installation, or anytime afterwards. For devices not capable of joining AD DS, Intune can be integrated with Microsoft Entra ID to allow for device enrollment and management.
