Release: Build Furniture for Your House

Completed

Now that we’ve gone over multiplayer and adding Boards to your build, you’re ready to try yourself. Remember, teach, release, reflect is our model. We taught you these skills, and now we'll release you to build! You can open any Minecraft lesson this way with your students.

Build a piece of furniture

It's time for you to give it a try. In this video, we walk through each step. You can pause to practice and try it on your own and press play when you're ready to resume.

Don't forget our rubric:

  • Join a hosted game (we simulated a hosted game, but you didn't actually do for this training), 1 point
  • Use two different materials, 1 point
  • Add a Board to explain your creation, 1 point
  • Use Camera, Book and Quill to capture your masterpiece. 3 points

Watch (pause and play): Build furniture and a board, use Camera, Book and Quill (10 minutes 46 seconds)

Next steps

Now that you've captured your picture and description in the Book and Quill and exported it to a PDF, it's time to reflect on your build.
