Gets or sets the number of rows retrieved during a data retrieval operation.
public:
property int TotalRowCount { int get(); void set(int value); };
public int TotalRowCount { get; set; }
member this.TotalRowCount : int with get, set
Public Property TotalRowCount As Integer
Property Value
The total number of data rows retrieved by the data retrieval operation.
Remarks
The TotalRowCount property supports paging scenarios. Data source and data source view controls differ in their internal implementation for how to retrieve total row counts. Check the DataSourceView.CanRetrieveTotalRowCount property to determine whether a data source view supports retrieving a total row count during a data-retrieval operation. If the data source supports it, the TotalRowCount property is set by the data source control during the course of a data-retrieval operation, and the total data row count is returned in the TotalRowCount property, much as a value is returned in an output parameter of a method.
