DLT release 2023.17

These features and improvements were released with the 2023.17 release of DLT.

Databricks Runtime versions used by this release

Channel:

• CURRENT (default): Databricks Runtime 11.3.10
• PREVIEW: Databricks Runtime 12.2.3

Bug fixes in this release

• With this release, DLT only retries an update when a retryable schema failure occurs in Auto Loader. Previously, DLT retried on any UnknownFieldException failure in Auto Loader.

• This release fixes a bug when a union operation is used with a dataset that includes expectations.
