curdate function

Returns the current date at the start of query evaluation. This function is a synonym for current_date.

Syntax

curdate()

Arguments

This function takes no arguments.

Returns

A DATE.

Examples

> SELECT current_date();
 2020-04-25

> SELECT current_date;
 2020-04-25
