HIBYTE macro

Retrieves the high-order byte from the given 16-bit value.

Syntax

BYTE HIBYTE(
   WORD w
);

-parameters

-param w

The value to be converted.

-return

Type: BYTE

The return value is the high-order byte of the specified value.
