Architect Council - Microsoft/SAP Interoperability

Please join us on April 12th at a local Microsoft office for the next arcCouncil meeting on Microsoft and SAP Interoperability. Microsoft and SAP are strategic technology providers for thousands of the world’s most successful businesses. If you rely on our products but have not yet integrated their use, you could be missing out opportunities to trim IT spending, streamline operations, and improve the overall effectiveness of your business. Architects often find confusing messages and little guidance on how to best apply the appropriate technologies.  Microsoft is using this arcStream to provide you with more information about how to better integrate the Microsoft and SAP solutions to extend the value of your existing investments across the enterprise.

About the arcCouncil:

arcCouncils are bi-monthly meetings of industry architects and feature guest presentations by Microsoft product architects, industry luminaries and customers. An arcCouncil is one several offerings provided under the Microsoft arcStream program. Launched last fall by Microsoft, arcStream is the premier technical program for architects in the East and provides a constant flow of technical information as well as networking opportunities for enterprise, solution, infrastructure and aspiring architects.

Learn about the breadth of Microsoft technologies that have been developed to extend the power of SAP into your enterprise.

12:00pm - 12:45pm - Lunch

12:45pm – 1:45pm - Extending SAP to the Information Worker - Tilo Boettcher

Leverage Microsoft Office Sharepoint Server to enable Information Workers. Create composite applications based on SAP’s capabilities and integrate it with the rest of the enterprise. Also learn how to integrate your data by creating searchable applications that cross your enterprise data.

About Tilo Boettcher:  Tilo Boettcher is the responsible Program Manager for Microsoft leading the Collaboration Technology Support Center (CTSC). The CTSC is a joint team between SAP and Microsoft focusing on customer guidance and interoperability between the two platform stacks. Tilo works with several product groups within Microsoft and engages with large customers designing the interop landscape and discussing the architectural challenges between SAP and Microsoft.
