After a long hiatus, the Inside OSD blog is active again.
Last week at the Microsoft Management Summit 2010, Configuration Manager 2007 R3 beta availability was announced. Along with several exciting sessions and labs on Configuration Manager v.Next. I will be posting a follow up shortly describing an exciting new feature in R3, called Prestaged Media.
Now is your chance to request some topics for myself or other members of the Configuration Manager Operating System Deployment feature team to address. If you have suggestions for some topics, comment below!

As soon as we hit beta, I can add some items around ConfigMgr v.Next OS Deployment. As stated at MMS 2010, we are anticipating Beta 1 in Q2 2010.Anonymous

Can you give us some more insight on OSD for SCCM V.Next? I heard a lot about the other changes, but nobody seems to tell anything about OSD. It would be very interesting to know what we can expect, what's improved and how it will affect our current deployments. Thx, Kris
