MPI_File_set_atomicity function

Sets the atomicity mode.

Syntax

int MPIAPI MPI_File_set_atomicity(
   MPI_File file,
   int      flag
);

Parameters

• file
  File handle.

• flag
  True to set atomic mode, false to set nonatomic mode.

Return value

Returns MPI_SUCCESS on success. Otherwise, the return value is an error code.

In Fortran, the return value is stored in the IERROR parameter.
