MPI_File_set_view function

Sets the file view.

Syntax

int MPIAPI MPI_File_set_view(
       MPI_File     file,
       MPI_Offset   disp,
       MPI_Datatype etype,
       MPI_Datatype filetype,
  _In_ char         *datarep,
       MPI_Info     info
);

Parameters

• file
  File handle.

• disp
  Displacement.

• etype
  Elementary datatype.

• filetype
  Filetype.

• datarep [in]
  Data representation.

• info
  Info object.

Return value

Returns MPI_SUCCESS on success. Otherwise, the return value is an error code.

In Fortran, the return value is stored in the IERROR parameter.
