VerifyPackageId function (appmodel.h)

Verifies whether or not a package id is syntactically valid.

Syntax

LONG VerifyPackageId(
  const PACKAGE_ID *packageId
);

Parameters

packageId

Type: _In_ const PACKAGE_ID*

The package id to verify.

Return value

Type: LONG

Returns ERROR_SUCCESS if the input is syntactically valid; otherwise ERROR_INVALID_PARAMETER.
