IDWriteGdiInterop::CreateFontFromLOGFONT method (dwrite.h)

Creates a font object that matches the properties specified by the LOGFONT structure.

Syntax

HRESULT CreateFontFromLOGFONT(
  [in]  LOGFONTW const *logFont,
  [out] IDWriteFont    **font
);

Parameters

[in] logFont

Type: const LOGFONTW*

A structure containing a GDI-compatible font description.

[out] font

Type: IDWriteFont**

When this method returns, contains an address of a pointer to a newly created IDWriteFont object if successful; otherwise, NULL.

Return value

Type: HRESULT

If this method succeeds, it returns S_OK. Otherwise, it returns an HRESULT error code.
